Way back in the olden days of my youth, I remember watching sci fi films like James Bond or even Star Trek and such and it fascinated me about those gadgets and things they use and imagined that one day, we will all be using them. I guess now is the time that it happening and it is like a kids dream come true for me. Nowadays we encounter these things at work or even in the things and gadgets we use everyday like cellphones, laptops and such. One of the earliest of these gadgets to come out is the touch screen panels where I first saw them in the department stores and groceries where you just press the screen for any information you might need in a product. Also the so very thin flat screen panels called TFT display are so amazing that it is hard to imagine it is a television of sorts that is so flat unlike the picture tube TVs I grew up watching to. One good thing I remember were those transponders in these movies and now you can purchase 2.4 GHz RFID and transponders easily in electronic stores anywhere. Times have really changed and I guess I have to try hard to catch up and be up to date and see if I can bring the kid in me to enjoy these amazing advancements in technology like I used to way back.
